After winning the pitch for Grand Hyatt’s festive project, we got to design collaterals for their Christmas and New Year’s Eve campaigns. We developed two concepts that were different from each other and in tune with the hotel’s interior decorations and festive event ideas.
For the Christmas campaign we used a friendly hand-written font for headers in combination with a sans serif font for main text. A simple pattern was developed in a slightly dull green to add the Christmas tree feel to the design and to contrast the main golden colour. The final touch was meant to be communicated through elegant golden hot stamp printing of the borders on each page.
The NYE campaign was more techie and futuristic. Fonts were sans serif and the colour palette reminded of neon lasers which were used to design the pattern for this campaign. To make these beautiful colours pop we used rainbow hot stamping for print production.
Items that were developed included: brochure, event tickets, brochure envelope, praline packaging, window decals, flyer, shop list, advertisement.
